Sarah M Chen

Sarah is a Southern California girl who journeyed from Orange County to Los Angeles where she studied communications at UCLA. This introduced her to the big bad world of Hollywood where she was a script reader for various studios. She escaped to Hermosa Beach to live a quiet and mysterious life as an indie bookseller and assistant to a private investigator. Sarah became an official crime fiction short story author with the publication of “Dough Boy” in LITTLE SISTERS, VOLUME 1 in 2007 and “Bad Boy Burn” in the Deadly Ink Short Story Collection as the third place winner. Sarah’s short story “The High Road” was published by Plan B in 2013 which was followed by “White Devil” in the Elm Books anthology DEATH AND THE DETECTIVE. Once Sarah completes her noir novella, she will be back to work on her first YA novel. Visit Sarah at
