Russell Hill is a three-time nominee for the Edgar Allen Poe award. Two of his novels are in film development and he has two more novels slated for publication in 2014. Married with three children, he lives in California, is an avid fly fisherman, and is the author of the classic The Search for Sheepheaven Trout. He has been a recipient of a Fullbright teaching fellowship in England and was a Walt Whitman Fellow at the University of Iowa. His work has been translated into French, German and Polish.
